Too bad you didn't post this a couple of weeks ago. My father-in-law just bought an '86 Savage and he drove all the way out here to pick it up. FROM UTAH!!! He lives south of you in the town of Gunnison.
He did all right though. Paid $500 for it, put in a new battery, cleaned it up, and started it. The carb is gummed up so he has to take it apart and clean out all the "varnish" but that's it.
